This last year, my family said goodbye to our dear Grammy. It was heartbreaking walking her to the gates of Heaven, and she taught me bravery and grace in the face of death. Grammy’s journey through hospice did bring us new mercies still: precious time together as a family.
2017 also brought us new life. In June, our family welcomed a new niece – Felicity! (Or “Flick!”) She and Posy are the lights of our lives. It’s so inspiring to see the way my brother and sister-in-law raise these two babies. Oh, – and I can’t forget the lighter moments in the year.
