After the conclusion of Disney’s hit series Lizzie McGuire, many of its stars went ahead to take on more roles in new TV hits. A few others, however, retired from Hollywood life altogether and pursued careers far removed from their previous acting. One of them is Adam Lamberg, who set us friendship goals in the hit series. Adam Matthew Lamberg was born on September 14, 1984. He shares the month of birth with celebrities like the Duke of Sussex, Britain’s Prince Harry who was born a day after him and Holes actor Jake M. Smith who was born on the same day as him.
He started out in the entertainment industry as a child actor. Although his career in it was brief, it was at best very successful. In 1996 he won the role of Stewie Goodman in the film Shining City and also appeared in the TV mini-series Dead Man’s Walk as Will Carey.
While winning the hearts of a thousand and one, Adam Lamberg prefers the feel of a live audience with his excellence in films and TV shows. From 2001 to 2004, Adam Lamberg undertook the performance that would become his signature act in the acting industry. He portrayed David “Gordo” Gordon on the Disney Channel Original Series Lizzie McGuire who also stars Hilary Duff in the title role, Lalaine Vergara as her other best friend and Jake Thomas who played her annoying little brother. He won the hearts of young fans as Lizzie’s sarcastic, level-headed, bohemian best friend goof until 2004. In 2014 he also received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Baruch College. He then found a job he loves as a development assistant at the Irish Arts Center in New York City. He seems to thrive best when the spotlight isn’t on him.
