Actress Constance Britton was born in the United States on March 6, 1967. In the independent comedy-drama The Brothers McMullen, Britton made her feature film debut. The following year, she was chosen to play Nikki Faber on the ABC sitcom Spin City.
Later, she acted in many movies, including the thriller The Last Winter (2006) and the sports dramas Friday Night Lights (2004). She also starred in the brief-lived comedy The Fighting Fitzgeralds (2001) and Lost at Home (2003).
From 2006 until 2011, Britton played Tami Taylor on the NBC/DirecTV drama series Friday Night Lights. She was nominated for two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for this performance, for which she garnered favorable reviews from reviewers.
