Croatian Tennis Star Marin Cilic Welcomed New Baby Boy Making His Family Expand To Four

Marin Cilic had an exceptional match against Carlos Alcaraz in the late-night US Open in Arthur Ashe Stadium. His fans counted on him to bag the win, but the game did not turn out to be in his favor.

He is a 33-year-old professional tennis player from Croatia. His tennis career reportedly started in 2004 after playing the junior ITF circuit in spring and turning pro in 2005. And on 28 January 2018, he received his career-high singles ranking, with world No.3.

Additionally, until now, he has already won 20 ATP Tour singles titles, including a major at the 2014 US Open. Further, he also represented his country in the 2020 Olympics, where he won a silver medal in the men’s doubles tournament. His partner was Ivan Doding during the match. 

Also, he has earned an experience with many coaches. Since 2004 until now he has been trained by six different personnel, including his present coach Vilim Visak. He has also won an exceptional amount of prize money, i.e., $31,031,227.

Marin Cilic announced in early September of 2021 via his official Instagram that his wife has given birth to their second child and is again a boy. In the post, he added that his first son’s best friend has arrived, and they are officially a team of four.

Some fans think Cilic expanded his family very fast as both the kids were in a less gap of just over a year. But it seems the pair did not want much age difference between their kids.

The Croatian pro athlete can be captured sharing images with his beloved wife and kids timely on his Instagram. Judging by the pictures, the baby looks healthy. However, he has managed to keep the baby’s face hidden until now. 

Kristina Milkaovic Is Marin Cilic First Wife?

Marin is married to his long-time girlfriend Kristina Milkaovic, whom he met during a Davis Cup in 2008. She was then working as a hostess. The pair took years to know each other properly-being in a relationship, and finally got engaged in July 2017.

Nevertheless, the live birds finally took a vow on 28 April 2018 in front of their loved ones at Sveti Nikola Church in southeast Dubrovnik. The marriage ceremony had over 400 guests. In addition, singer Gibonni and Mate Bulic were also at the wedding and took care of everyone’s entertainment with the performance.

Further, people wonder if Kristina is still working the same job, but the answer is no. She is an employee of Zagrebacka Banka, the largest one in Croatia. Additionally, it was known that she has two master’s degrees, one in Political science and the other in Psychology.

She is multilingual and speaks Croatian, Spanish, Italian, and Spanish. She seems to spend her time with her beloved life partner Marin. She has also been tagged in many pictures by her spouse, but she has kept her account private.  

What Did Marin Cilic Named His First Son?

After getting married Cilic couple waited a year before they planned to start their own family as they became parents on 31 January 2020. Kristina gave birth to the baby boy, Baldo in Sisters of Charity Hospital in Zagreb.

Little Cilic was named Baldo. The tennis player flashed the news via his Instagram. He uploaded an image of the baby with a small tennis racket, but the full face was not revealed. Marin captioned the image, “Officially, a three-person team.” He also added that the mother and infant both were doing well. 

Cilic Family Has Grown To Four After Their Second Child

Marin Cilic announced that now his family is officially a team of four after the birth of his second child. He also revealed that the best friend of his eldest kid Baldo had arrived with an image of an infant holding his index finger.

But unlike his first baby, he has not revealed the name of his second child. But Cilic let the world know that he has become a father one more time in a similar way via his social media account. Also, in the post, he credited his spouse as an absolute rockstar.

Later the star player uploaded the image with his family but covered the face of both the kids. The pair might have decided to keep both their kids away from the limelight.
