Brooke Shields was previously married to Andre Agassi (1997 – 1999). After two years, in 1999, Brooke and Andre divorced — and one of the primary causes was Andre’s substance abuse issues.

Actor Brooke Shields has revealed she regrets marrying former tennis ace, Andre Agassi and is happy with the divorce. The relationship had become difficult for Brooke and she ended up calling it quits.

In 1980, Brooke Shields was the youngest guest star to ever appear on The Muppet Show. She was also the youngest person to host the sketch comedy show, ABC’s Fridays, in 1981.

In a 1996 episode of the popular comedy sitcom Friends, Brooke Shields played Joey’s stalker. Since 2013, Brooke Shields has been an occasional guest co-host on the 9:00 hour of Today on NBC.

Brooke Shields was cast in the title role of the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan, in which she starred from 1996 until 2000. Shields recurred during Season Nineteen of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Sheila Porter, the maternal grandmother of Olivia Benson’s adopted son, Noah Porter.
