Comedian Jay Leno is currently 72 years old. He was born in April 1950.
Leno has suffered a couple of accidents in recent times, the last being a motorcycle accident, leading to several broken bones.
Leno who has been looking forward to his upcoming Las Vegas show in March, “got knocked off” his vintage motorcycle during a test drive on January 17, 2023.
“I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it,” Leno had explained.
“So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clotheslined me and, boom, knocked me off the bike.
Barely two months ago, the comedian was “hospitalized for second- and third-degree burns”, following a minor gas explosion on his face, hands and chest, that made him to undergo surgery.
Leno is currently recovering fast and is doing well.

Born on April 28, 1950, in New Rochelle, New York, Leno began his talk show The Jay Leno Show shortly after he quit anchoring The Tonight Show. He also played host on the shows Jay Leno’s Garage, and You Bet Your Life.
In addition to TV, Leno contributes as a columnist in Popular Mechanics, an automobile advisory segment in The Sunday Times.
In 2014, Leno was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame
