Bluher is a proficient attorney specializing in financial management. He works in the United States and has delivered legal advice to prominent customers, such as his present wife, Taylor Armstrong who struggled as a result of his first spouse, Russell being in debt of roughly $15 million at the time of his death, and Taylor had to deal with lawsuits from his earlier financial dealings.

Taylor disclosed during the reunion of RHOBH season 2 that her first husband, was physically and verbally abusive. She subsequently filed for divorce in July 2011. Sadly, Russell died a few months after the breakup, and his reason for death was ruled to be suicide. The one-time couple were matched for almost six years and they were blessed with one child.
