Uche was born on December 28, 1979 in Abiriba, Abia State. She had her primary and secondary education in Abia state before proceeding to University of Calabar to study Mathematics and Statistics. Upon completion of her degree, she went for a second degree in Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
Her acting career kicked off in 1999 when she featured in the movie ‘Visa to Hell’, a movie which brought her to limelight. Ever since she joined Nollywood, she has featured in over 250 movies.
Some of the movies she has appeared in include; Visa to Hell, Fire Love, Darkest Night, My Sister My Love, World of Commotion, Rush Hour, Final Hour, Greatest Harvest, Beyonce & Rihanna, Entanglement, Silent Scandals, Kiss and Tell, Damage, Misplaced, After the Proposal, Oge’s Sister, Wives on Strike, Lost in Us, Banana Island Ghost, Heaven on my Mind, How I Saved my Marriage, Boys are not Smiling Series and many more.
She has also worked with several Nollywood stars including Tonto Dikeh, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Genevieve Nnaji, Jim Iyke, Desmond Elliot, Ini Edo, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Mercy Johnson and Omoni Oboli.
As a Scriptwriter, Uche has several movies to her credit. Some of them are The Celebrity, Games Men Play, Lies Men Tell, Nollywood Hustlers, Work Damage, Lagos Cougar and Mrs Somebody.

In 2012, Uche got married to Kenny Rodriguez, a Portuguese man. Their union is blessed with a son – Matthew Rodriguez.
