Diana Ross is an American iconic entertainer, songwriter, producer, film, and television actress who rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group The Supremes.

Diana Ross was born on March 26, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, United States of America. Ross’s eponymous debut solo album featured the U.S. number-one hit “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and the music anthem “Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand)”.

Diana Ross’s hits as a Supreme and a solo artist combined put her among the Top 5 artists on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart from 1955 to 2018.
